Fees

What to expect…

• Fees are charged to a credit card on the day of the scheduled session. 

• Clients are given a digital credit card authorization form to complete before their first appointment. 

• Once fees have been charged, detailed receipts are sent via email.

Alberta Health Care does not cover psychologists' fees, but many employee benefit plans cover them. The procedure to access your coverage is to pay for the session directly and then submit the receipt for reimbursement from your insurance company. 

Strathearn Psychology does not direct bill (but we are working on this; please stay tuned for updates…)

Please note that the full fee for the session is charged for sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice.

Individuals: $220 per session

Couples or Families: $240 per session

Private Pre-marriage Counselling (Marriage Prep): $240 per session (5 session series

Provisional Psychologist Supervision: $180.00 per hour

Supervision of Supervision: $200 per hour

Consultative Supervision: $200 per hour

Jenny McAlisters' fees are consistent with the recommended fee schedule of the Psychologist Association of Alberta.  The recommended fee schedule can be found here.
