Individual Therapy

A space to understand yourself, navigate challenges, and find a way forward.

Life can be complicated, and sometimes we need a little help making sense of it all. Whether you're navigating a significant life transition, struggling with relationships, experiencing anxiety or depression, or simply feeling stuck, therapy provides a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what's happening in your life.

My approach to individual therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe that understanding ourselves, our experiences, and the patterns that shape our lives can help us make meaningful changes.

Together, we'll explore what's working, what's getting in the way, and what might need to change. Sometimes that means developing new skills or perspectives. Other times it means working through difficult experiences, strengthening boundaries, or finding greater clarity about what matters most.

Therapy doesn't always have to be heavy. There is room for humour, curiosity, honest conversations, and celebrating progress along the way.

Sessions are available in person or virtually.

Couples Therapy

Building stronger connections, navigating conflict, and understanding each other a little better.

Relationships can be one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of our lives, but they can also be challenging. Even the strongest relationships experience periods of disconnection, conflict, or uncertainty.

Couples therapy offers an opportunity to step outside familiar patterns, better understand one another, and explore new ways of communicating and connecting.

I work with couples at all stages of their relationships, whether you're building a life together, navigating the demands of parenting, working through longstanding difficulties, rebuilding trust, or considering what the future of your relationship might look like.

My approach is collaborative, balanced, and grounded in the belief that relationships are shaped by the experiences, expectations, and perspectives each person brings. I help couples slow down difficult conversations, recognize unhelpful patterns, and better understand what is happening beneath the surface of their conflicts.

Sometimes our work focuses on strengthening and repairing relationships. Other times, it involves navigating significant decisions, including separation or changes to the relationship. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to help you approach those conversations with greater understanding, clarity, and respect.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, to help couples develop practical strategies for managing conflict, deepening connection, and strengthening their relationships.

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. Sometimes the best time to work on your relationship is before things become difficult.

Family Therapy

Helping families navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and find healthier ways forward.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and no two families are quite the same. They are often the source of our greatest connection, support, and belonging, but they can also be where we experience some of our most difficult challenges.

Family relationships are complex. Different personalities, developmental needs, experiences, and expectations all influence how we communicate, manage conflict, and relate to one another. Sometimes families find themselves caught in patterns that are difficult to understand or change on their own.

Family therapy offers a supportive and structured space to explore these dynamics, improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen important relationships.

I work with families experiencing a wide range of challenges, including parenting difficulties, parent-child conflict, adolescent development, blended family relationships, separation and divorce, and significant family transitions.

I have a particular interest in supporting families navigating separation, divorce, and changing parenting arrangements. These transitions can be emotionally complicated for everyone involved, especially children. My approach emphasizes reducing conflict, supporting healthy parent-child relationships, and helping parents make decisions that consider their children's emotional and developmental needs.

I also bring extensive experience working with children and adolescents, including those with disabilities and additional support needs. I recognize that every child experiences and communicates their needs differently, and that effective family work requires an understanding of each person's unique circumstances.

Family therapy isn't about deciding who is right or wrong, assigning blame, or expecting everyone to agree. It's about understanding the patterns that have developed, recognizing the needs and perspectives of family members, and finding more constructive ways of moving forward.

Sometimes that work involves bringing family members together to have conversations that have been difficult to navigate. Other times it involves helping parents strengthen their parenting relationship, establish healthier boundaries, or better understand their children's experiences.

Families don't have to be perfect to be healthy. They need opportunities to communicate, adapt, repair, and grow together.
